Site analysis and preparation, specifically the foundation, is the number one criterion for achieving a quality installation. Excavation must be adequate and sufficiently deep, with the required depth varying depending on the project.

After removing vegetation and loose soil during excavation, our professional team takes care of soil drainage, a crucial step. A minimum slope of 2% must be maintained to allow proper water runoff during rainfall. Poor drainage can lead to heaving, settling, or misalignment of the paving stones.

Our installers build a compliant granular foundation by installing several layers of aggregate, typically 0–¾ stone, mechanically compacted to achieve a precise and uniform finish. They then proceed with the installation of solid edge restraints, which are essential to prevent the paving stones from spreading.

All that remains is to add a layer of crushed sand and install the paving stones according to the pattern chosen by the client, whether herringbone, linear, or a predefined layout. Final finishing is then completed by our team to deliver paving stone installations that meet your expectations, are durable, high quality, and resistant to settling.
